Water purification is an urgent security, environmental, and economic issue requiring quick attention and creative solutions. Specifically, as a result of the growing world population and rapid industrialization, enormous quantities of organic wastewater are released into water bodies, resulting in severe environmental pollution. Therefore, it is of the utmost importance to develop cost-effective technology and efficient methods for removing pollutants from aqueous solutions.

Quellwasser Corporation (QWC), founded in May 2013, was born from the shared vision of a father and daughter to become a leading provider of clean water solutions, particularly to underserved communities. The distinctive name "Quellwasser" is rooted in its German origins, directly translating to "well water," symbolizing the early ideals of water source development and deep well provision.

QWC stands as a joint venture between Arn Builders Inc., a Cebu-based construction firm, and Islander Water Resources Inc. (IWRI) in Bohol, specializing in bulk water supply and infrastructure development. The company's inaugural office, established in 2013 within the Mactan Economic Zone, Lapu-Lapu City, was led by its visionary founder and President, Arnhiza Nikki B. Espinoza.

Despite its scanty initial capitalization of Ten Million Pesos (PHP10,000,000.00), QWC embarked on a journey to secure partnerships, projects, and cultivate its brand identity from 2013 to 2018. Although some early efforts met with challenges, 2019 proved to be a turning point for the company.
